Roc Nation Reportedly Plans Spain Development Trip for Three-Year-Old Football Prodigy Nevada Pierre
Three-year-old football sensation Nevada Pierre has attracted international attention following reports that Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Sports is arranging a trip to Spain to support his football development.
According to reports published by Complex Sports and other media outlets, the sports management company is planning to take Nevada and his family to Spain in December for an experience that could expose the young player to new football development opportunities.
Nevada recently gained widespread attention after a disagreement involving his family and officials at an i9 Sports youth football programme in Winter Park, Florida, led to police being called to the venue on October 24.
His parents alleged that their son was being treated unfairly because of his football ability. However, the league disputed that account, saying the police response followed a disagreement involving adults. No arrests were made.
The incident generated significant public interest in the youngster, with Roc Nation Sports publicly expressing support for him on social media. The organisation also represents several prominent athletes, including Real Madrid forward Vinícius Júnior.
Former United States international footballer Eddie Johnson has also offered to help train Nevada at his EJE7 Soccer Academy in Orlando, Florida.
While reports have linked Nevada to opportunities in Spain, there is no independent confirmation that Real Madrid has sent chief scout Juni Calafat to meet his family or made a financial offer to sign him. The reported Spain trip is linked to Roc Nation Sports, not a confirmed Real Madrid transfer arrangement.
