Bauchi APC Chieftain Hails Tinubu for appointing Dogara as NCGC board Chair

A stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State, Honorable Bulus Iliya, has commended President Ahmed Bola Tinubu for appointing the former Speaker of the 8th National Assembly, Rt. Honorable Yakubu Dogara, as the Board Chairman of the National Credit Guarantee Company Limited (NCGC).

Iliya made the commendation at a news conference on Friday in Bauchi,described Dogara’s appointment as a step in the right direction.

Iliya, who contested for the Bauchi State House of Assembly seat representing Bogoro constituency in the 2023 general elections, said the President made an excellent choice by entrusting Dogara with the strategic leadership of the newly established financial institution.

“President Tinubu did a very good job by appointing Dogara as Chairman,” Iliya said. “Under his leadership, the company will be strengthened and will contribute significantly to national development.

“Dogara would brings credibility, strategic direction, and impactful leadership to this laudable initiative.”

He further emphasized Dogara’s exemplary track record in legislative and public service, describing him as well-suited to steer the institution at a time when the country needs innovative financial solutions.

He also applauded the establishment of the NCGC by the Tinubu-led administration, noting that the company will play a crucial role in reducing lending risks and enhancing access to finance for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), manufacturers, and consumers.

Hon. Iliya urged Nigerians to continue praying for President Tinubu, asking God to grant him more wisdom, strength, and good health as he steers the nation forward.
