Death Rumour: I’m still around, not in hurry —Yakubu Gowon
Former Head of State General Yakubu Gowon has disputed reports that he died on Monday.
According to reports, the death speculation is currently circulating on major social media platforms.

His Personal Media Aide, Adeyeye E. Ajayi, however, stated in a brief statement on Monday night that the former military chief is not dead.
According to Ajayi, Gowon said, “I am still around and well. I am not in a hurry”.
