Promiseland Estate, in a heartfelt gesture, has presented plots of estate land to military widows through the Defence and Police Officers’ Wives Association (DEPOWA). The presentation, which took place on Saturday, January 13, 2024, marks a significant occasion in honour of the Armed Forces Celebration and Remembrance Day.

In a symbolic move, Promiseland Estate announced the presentation of plots of estate land to military widows through DEPOWA. This gesture aims to express profound appreciation for the sacrifices made by fallen heroes and their families. The CEO emphasised that these plots symbolise a commitment to supporting and uplifting those who have faced loss and hardship.

Ambassador Lawrence Oloche, CEO of Promiseland Estate, represented by the company’s Head of Corporate Communications, Ndukwe Okwudiri Wilson, expressed gratitude to the Nigerian Armed Forces and highlighted the unwavering commitment of General Christopher Gwabin Musa, the Chief of Defence Staff, towards the welfare of military widows. He also commended Mrs. Oghogho G. Musa, the President of DEPOWA, for her dedication to the cause.

Mrs Gift Veronica Aluko, the National President of the Military Widows Association (MIWA), expressed deep gratitude to Promiseland Estate. “This generous act is a lifeline for widows who have experienced the harsh realities of loss and grief.” She said, praising the enduring spirit of solidarity demonstrated by Promiseland Estate and DEPOWA.

The President of DEPOWA, in her remarks, thanked Promiseland Estate for the benevolent act. She emphasised the significance of providing shelter for widows and creating a sense of belonging. The presentation, attended by distinguished guests, well-wishers, and friends of DEPOWA, exemplifies the unity and compassion within the extended military family.
