Don’t panic, NDA tells residents as it conducts introductory shooting exercise

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has urged residents not to worry as it will be conducting its yearly range classification and introduction shooting exercises for Cadets of 73 Regular Course.

This was said in a statement released on Friday in Kaduna by Maj. Mohammed Maidawa, the academy’s public relations officer.

“The NDA wishes to inform the public especially inhabitants of Mando,Tsamiya, Kauya, and Afaka general area that it will be conducting its Annual Range Classification for Nigerian Army (NA) personnel of NDA and Introductory Shooting Exercise for Cadets of 73 Regular Course, ” he said.

He revealed that the exercises were set to take place at NDA Open Range Afaka from November 20 to 30.

Maidawa gave the people the reassurance that all safety precautions had been taken to ensure the exercises went off without a hitch.

But throughout the exercise period, he cautioned the general public and other towns to stay away from the general region.
