Foundation restates commitment to complementing Gov Zulum’s developmental agenda
The Founder and President of Al-Ansar Foundation Dr Muhammad Kyari Dikwa has pledged to complement the developmental efforts of Gov Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno state.
In a release made available to newsmen on Saturday by Dr Abubakar Muhammad Sani, Senior Special Assistant to the Founder and President of the Al-Ansar Foundation, Dikwa said his foundation would galvanize support to help improve the wellbeing of the people of Borno state.
“ Our Foundation will continue to pursue and execute meaningful projects that will have a direct impact on the lives of Borno indigenes and as well as use its resources and connections not only to alleviate the sufferings of the vulnerable in the societies but also to ensure that both local and international investors Invest in the State especially in the education, and other vital sectors of the State economy,” he stated.
Dr Dikwa also stated that the visit of his Foundation’s partner to the state led by Professor Hasan Bin Abdul-Hamid Al-Bukhari, one of the Imams of Masjid Al-Haram and Dean, Institute of Arabic Language for Non-Native Speakers, Umm Al-Qura University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia showed that “ we are not alone in the pursuit of this noble cause of complementing government’s efforts in addressing some of the obvious challenges, especially in the education sector in our dear State and beyond.
He thanked the Borno State Governor Prof Babagana Umara Zulum for the warm, unprecedented and historic reception to his partners led by Professor Hasan Bin Abdul-Hamid Al-Bukhari from Umm Al-Qura University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
“Indeed, I and my esteemed guests were overwhelmed and short of words to express our sincere appreciation for such magnanimous and landmark reception accorded us.
“The Foundation considers this opportunity as rare, huge and overwhelming and wishes to genuinely appreciate all the efforts Your Excellency, your cabinet members and the good and hospitable people of Borno State have demonstrated to encourage the Foundation in her quest to complement the current administration’s efforts in bringing long-lasting peace and development to the State.
Dr Dikwa said that the Foundation is legendary and remain printed in the memories as a gentle reminder of the fact that they are in a worthy cause of serving the Almighty Allah (SWT) through service to humanity and more importantly.
“Furthermore, the Foundation wishes to use this medium to once again pledge its commitment to complement your administration’s agenda in ensuring that Borno’s lost glamour and glory as a home for peace and hospitality is restored.
The President of the Foundation also thanked Your Royal Highness the Shehu of Borno Alhaji (Dr.) Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai for the reception to him and the visitors from Saudi Arabia.
