Governor Radda Visits Rescued Wife of Late Major General Rabe Abubakar in Katsina Hospital
Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umaru Radda, has visited Mrs. Amina Rabe Abubakar, wife of the late Major General Rabe Abubakar, following her successful rescue from kidnappers by troops of Operation FANSAN YAMMA.

Mrs. Abubakar is currently receiving treatment at the Federal Teaching Hospital Katsina, where the governor visited her alongside the Director General of Media Affairs, Maiwada Dammallam.
The visit comes days after troops of Operation FANSAN YAMMA successfully rescued Mrs. Abubakar during a military operation in Katsina State. According to reports, the rescue followed a fierce confrontation between security forces and the kidnappers, leading to the recovery of the victim.
Speaking during the visit, Governor Radda commended the courage, professionalism, and commitment of the troops involved in the operation. He described the rescue as a significant achievement in the ongoing efforts to tackle insecurity across the state and the North-West region.
The governor noted that the successful operation has further strengthened public confidence in the collaboration between the state government and security agencies in addressing the challenges of banditry, kidnapping, and other violent crimes.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to providing continued support to security forces as they intensify efforts to restore lasting peace and protect communities across Katsina State.
Governor Radda also expressed relief over Mrs. Abubakar’s recovery and wished her a speedy return to full health.
