In a heartfelt gesture of appreciation to the community that shaped the life and military career of retired Major General Markus Kangye, his wife, Helen Markus Kangye, alongside their children, family members, and well-wishers, has paid a humanitarian visit to the General Hospital in Michika, Adamawa State.

The visit, which forms part of activities marking his retirement, was focused on giving back to the people and institutions that supported the family throughout his years of service.
During the outreach, Helen Markus Kangye and members of the entourage donated financial assistance and tokens of support to patients receiving treatment at the hospital, bringing relief and renewed hope to several families.
Patients and their relatives expressed gratitude for the timely intervention, describing the gesture as both compassionate and impactful, especially at a time when many are facing economic challenges.
Speaking during the visit, Helen Markus Kangye emphasized the importance of kindness and sustained support for the less privileged in society. She noted that retirement celebrations should extend beyond personal milestones to include meaningful acts of love and community service.
