Kebbi: Tribunal upholds Governor Nasir Idris’ election
The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal on Thursday in Birnin Kebbi affirmed Governor Nasir Idris’ election as the legitimately elected governor of Kebbi State.
The panel, presided over by Justice Ofem I. Ofem, issued its decision on Thursday.

In the March 18 gubernatorial election, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, certified Idris of the All Progressives Congress, APC, the winner.
But General Aminu Bande (retd) of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP had filed a 722-page petition challenging the election of Governor Idris in the March 18 poll.
