In his goodwill message, General Musa described the Christmas season as a powerful reminder of the ideals that bind Nigerians together—courage, sacrifice, forgiveness, and an unwavering commitment to national service. He noted that these values are reflected daily in the dedication of men and women who serve across the country, from homes and communities to barracks, borders, and operational theatres.
According to the Defence Chief, the spirit of service demonstrated by Nigeria’s security personnel mirrors the deeper lessons of the season: selflessness, hope, and the resolve to place the greater good above personal comfort. He praised the bravery and resilience of troops who continue to discharge their duties with professionalism, often at great personal sacrifice, to ensure the safety and stability of the nation.
General Musa urged Nigerians to use the festive period to cherish family, honour those who protect the country, and recommit themselves to building a just, peaceful, and prosperous Nigeria. He emphasized that true strength lies in service to others, a principle embodied both by the Armed Forces and the timeless message of the season.
