Musawa Reaffirms Commitment to Nigerian Creatives at Stakeholder Dialogue

The Minister of Art, Culture and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, has reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to empowering Nigerian creatives and entrepreneurs as key drivers of national development.

The minister made this known while participating in the “Dear Entrepreneur, We See You, We Hear You” Stakeholder Dialogue, a platform designed to foster engagement, listening, and collaboration among entrepreneurs, innovators, creatives, and key industry stakeholders.

The event, hosted by the Senior Special Assistant to the President, Chalya Shagaya, brought together voices across sectors to discuss challenges, opportunities, and the future of Nigeria’s creative and entrepreneurial landscape.

Musawa noted that the dialogue underscored the government’s resolve to place Nigerian creatives and entrepreneurs at the centre of policy formulation and economic progress, recognizing their growing influence both locally and globally.

A major highlight of the event was a fireside chat with renowned culture and entertainment journalist, Lola Ogunnaike. The session explored the power of storytelling, Nigeria’s expanding global cultural footprint, and emerging opportunities within the country’s creative economy.

The dialogue further reinforced the importance of sustained collaboration between government and stakeholders in unlocking the full potential of Nigeria’s vibrant creative sector.
