The North East Development Commission (NEDC) has donated modern digital equipment to the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) as part of efforts to strengthen broadcasting operations and improve service delivery.
The intervention is aimed at enhancing the capacity of the national broadcaster through upgraded technology and improved operational efficiency.
In a related development, the Commission also presented luggage trolleys to the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) to improve passenger experience and ease movement within airports across the North-East region.
The donations form part of the Commission’s broader intervention programmes targeted at supporting critical institutions and improving public service delivery across sectors.
The NEDC said the initiatives reflect its commitment to strengthening infrastructure, supporting institutions, and improving the quality of services available to residents and travelers within the region.
