The Honourable Minister of State for Budget and Economic Planning, Doris Uzoka-Anite, presided over the ceremonial announcement, describing the engagement as a significant step toward strengthening bilateral relations.

According to the Minister, the renewed partnership reflects a shared vision between Nigeria and the EU, focused on sustainable development, inclusive growth, and an investment-driven economic future.

She noted that key areas of collaboration include energy, digital infrastructure, transport, healthcare, and agriculture—sectors considered critical to Nigeria’s long-term economic transformation.

Uzoka-Anite also reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment, under the leadership of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to implementing reforms aimed at boosting economic growth, unlocking private sector potential, and delivering measurable benefits for citizens.

The Minister expressed optimism that the strengthened partnership would drive resilience, expand opportunities, and promote shared progress between Nigeria and the European Union.
