NNPCL Cuts Petrol Price Again, Reduces Pump Price by ₦60 Per Litre

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has reduced the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), marking its second price cut in less than two weeks.

A market survey conducted on Sunday showed that NNPCL retail outlets have lowered the price of petrol to ₦1,150 per litre, down from ₦1,210 per litre, representing a reduction of ₦60 per litre.

The latest adjustment brings the total reduction in the company’s pump price to ₦110 per litre between June 27 and July 5, 2026.

The price cut comes just days after the Dangote Refinery announced its fourth reduction in the ex-depot (gantry) price of petrol, lowering the rate to ₦1,075 per litre.

The latest reductions by both NNPCL and Dangote Refinery are expected to influence fuel prices across the country as marketers respond to changing market conditions.
