NSCDC Borno Command Receives Immigration Controller, Reaffirms Inter-Agency Collaboration
The Borno State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has received the Controller of Immigration, CIS UK Ahmed, at its State Command Headquarters in Maiduguri.
A quarter guard of honour was mounted in his honour and inspected by the visiting Controller during the official reception.
During the visit, CIS Ahmed introduced himself and highlighted areas of potential collaboration between the Nigeria Immigration Service and the NSCDC in achieving shared security and administrative objectives.
He also provided an overview of ongoing reforms within the Nigeria Immigration Service, particularly improvements in passport processing systems and service delivery.
In his response, the State Commandant, CC Ahmed Bello Gaya, commended the Controller for the visit, describing it as a proactive step toward strengthening inter-agency cooperation.
He assured the Immigration Service of the NSCDC’s readiness to support collaborative efforts aimed at enhancing national security and operational efficiency.
The visit concluded with an exchange of souvenirs, cordial discussions, and a group photograph to commemorate the engagement.
