NSCDC Commissions Tactical Training Ground in Abuja to Strengthen Operational Readiness
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has taken another significant step towards strengthening the tactical competence, discipline and operational readiness of its personnel with the commissioning of a new Tactical Training Ground at the FCT Command Headquarters, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja.
The facility, commissioned as part of the Commandant General’s broader vision of building an elite, highly disciplined and professionally equipped Corps, is expected to provide officers and men with a dedicated environment for continuous practical training, tactical exercises and capacity development.
The initiative underscores the commitment of the Commandant General, Prof. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, to continuous training and professional development as essential components of effective security operations.
The FCT Commandant, Dr. Olusola Odumosu, was commended for driving the initiative and providing the facility to enhance the tactical competence, resilience and professionalism of personnel serving in the Federal Capital Territory.
With the new training ground, the NSCDC is further strengthening its preparedness to respond effectively to emerging security challenges while improving the overall efficiency and professionalism of its officers and men.
The development reinforces the Corps’ commitment to innovation, continuous learning and operational excellence in the discharge of its mandate to protect critical national assets and infrastructure and safeguard communities across Nigeria.
