Osun EHOAN Commences 2024 Scientific Conference and Environmental Health Week

Activities marking the 2024 State Environmental Health Week and Scientific Conference of the Environmental Health Officers Association of Nigeria, EHOAN, Osun State Chapter will commence between Sunday 12th to Thursday 16th of May, 2024.
This was disclosed in a press statement issued and made available to newsmen in Osogbo the Osun State capital on Saturday by the State President and Secretary of the association, Sanitarian Ola Sunday Olufemi and Sanitarian Akinola Raphael Olutayo respectively.
According to the statement, the theme for the one week long annual programme is “Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene: Key Factors To Quality Life”.
The statement informed that the activities would commence tomorrow Sunday with the Osun State Broadcasting Corporation, OSBC Radio Programmes known as “Eroya” to update the general public while on Monday, there would be sanitation in the selected Local Government areas, such as, Ila Local Government, Osogbo township and Odo-Otin Local Government specifically Oyan and Asi towns.
Similarly on Tuesday, the programme continue with an excursion to Erin-Ijesa water fall and courtesy visit to the Akinla of Erin-Ijesa and on Wednesday, the Conference opening ceremony with presentation of lead paper titled, “Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene: Key Factors To Quality Life ” while there is going to be an award presentation to the Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke among other activities put in place.
The State President and Secretary informed that, people from all walks of life are expected to witness the annual event which would hold at the Leisure Spring Hotels Ltd, Iwo-Ibadan road, Osogbo.
