Respect Ramadan: Stop incessant killings

Kalthum Foundation for Peace ( KFP) Chairperson, Amb. Ummu Kalthum Muhammad has said that the holy month of Ramadan is supposed to be a month of prayer, repentance, and meditation for Muslim faithful all over the world.

Ambassador Kalthum stated this in a press statement signed and made available to Newsmen in Maiduguri on Saturday.

“It is acknowledged by all and sundry that Borno which is an integral part of Kanem Borno Empire is an Islamic domain, ” said Ummu.

She also appeals to the Jama’atul all Sunna Lil Daawati wal Jihad, Islamic State in West Africa Province, and Khilafa to shield their sword and stop all hostilities in this holy month.

“We are also appealing to the government Military security agencies to do same.

Ambassador Kalthum also pleaded with the government and the insurgents to find other ways of resolving this emphasis.

“Kalthum Foundation for Peace (KFP) will always be common to issues of peacebuilding and conflict management vis-a-vis equity and justice for everyone, ” said the Chairperson.
