King Maha Vajiralongkorn of Thailand, widely known as Rama X, has been ranked as the richest monarch in the world in 2026, with an estimated net worth ranging between $30 billion and $70 billion.

The Thai monarch controls one of the most extensive personal asset portfolios globally. Reports indicate that he owns approximately 17,000 residential properties, making him one of the largest landowners in Bangkok, with holdings that include commercial buildings, luxury hotels, and historic royal palaces.

King Vajiralongkorn also maintains an impressive private transport fleet. He reportedly owns 38 private aircraft, including Boeing and Airbus jets, as well as 21 helicopters. His collection of luxury vehicles exceeds 300 cars, ranging from classic automobiles and Rolls-Royces to modern high-end models and specially designed limousines.

In addition, the monarch possesses 52 luxury royal barges and yachts, many of them ornately decorated with gold and traditionally used for royal ceremonies and river processions.

Beyond physical assets, the King holds significant stakes in major Thai corporations. These include 23 percent ownership in Siam Commercial Bank and 33.3 percent stake in Siam Cement Group, two of Thailand’s most influential companies.

His wealth portfolio also includes rare treasures. Notably, he owns the world’s largest diamond, weighing 545.67 carats, valued at approximately $11–12 million.
