Troops Neutralise Insurgents
In a recent operation, troops from the 1 Division of the Nigerian Army engaged insurgents in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State, resulting in the neutralisation of 4 insurgents and the recovery of weapons.

The firefight also led to the retrieval of 3 AK-47 rifles, 7 AK-47 rifle magazines, and 2 motorcycles. In a separate incident based on intelligence received, troops intercepted insurgents in Kwaga village, successfully rescuing 11 kidnapped victims and apprehending the culprits.
The victims, kidnapped from Masuku village in Niger State, were provided with medical attention and reunited with their families. Major Gen Valentine Okoro, the General Officer Commanding 1 Division NA, commended the troops and urged the public to continue providing real-time intelligence to enhance security efforts.
