Africa Radio International Unveils Pioneer Management Team to Drive Pan-African Vision

Africa Radio International (ARI), a newly established Pan-African media platform, has announced the appointment of its inaugural management team to steer its mission of amplifying African voices and shaping authentic narratives about the continent.

The new team, made up of seasoned professionals drawn from across Africa, will drive ARI’s vision of connecting Africans at home and in the diaspora through innovative and inclusive broadcasting.

In a press release made available to OurNigeria News on Thursday, the Managing Editor, Binta Suleiman Yero, described the appointments as a significant milestone in the organization’s journey toward building a strong Pan-African media institution.

“We have brought together a group of visionary journalists and leaders with diverse experience across media, communications, technology, and community engagement. Their collective expertise will drive ARI’s mission to connect Africans on the continent and in the diaspora, giving them a powerful voice on the global stage,” she said.

The management team will oversee the network’s strategic direction, programming, and operational growth as ARI prepares to launch its flagship programmes across Africa and beyond.

The newly announced ARI Management Team includes:

  • Hassan Maina KainaEditor-in-Chief (CEO): Responsible for overall leadership and driving ARI’s global vision and strategic partnerships.
  • Mohammed AbbaPlanner/Fixer (P/F): Oversees daily operations, ensuring smooth delivery of news and programmes.
  • Aisha Mu’azuAssociate Editor: Leads the creative direction of ARI’s radio, digital, and multimedia platforms.
  • Idriss Abdallah BakoEditor, Ghana/West Africa.
  • Souley Mumouni BarmaEditor, Niger Republic/Sahel Region.
  • Maimunatou SadouEditor, Republic of Cameroon/Central Africa.

Yero added that with a talented team in place, Africa Radio International is poised to redefine Pan-African broadcasting.

“Our focus is on delivering credible information, compelling stories, and inclusive conversations that resonate with our diverse audiences,” she stated.

Africa Radio International aims to serve as a bridge connecting Africa to the world while promoting unity, culture, and development through impactful storytelling.
