Speaking on the need for a new political culture, Durkwa said the nation must move away from self-centered governance and embrace leaders who prioritize the collective good of the people.

“Our nation needs leaders who value service over self-gain. It’s time to build a future where integrity is our foundation and justice guides our every decision,” he said.

Dr Durkwa stressed that true development can only be achieved when leaders are accountable, transparent, and genuinely committed to the welfare of citizens. He urged voters to remain vigilant and actively support candidates with proven character and vision.

The governorship hopeful also emphasized that Adamawa State deserves leadership that is honest, compassionate, and forward-looking, adding that the 2027 elections present an opportunity for citizens to reshape the political landscape.

“Let’s demand leadership that is true, selfless, and honorable,” he added, encouraging residents to participate actively in the democratic process.

His message has begun to resonate among supporters, who view his stance as a call for renewed hope and responsible governance in Adamawa State.
