The Wife of the Honourable Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (Rtd.), Mrs Oghogho Musa, has reaffirmed her commitment to empowering women through initiatives focused on healthy living, financial independence and purposeful leadership.

Speaking at an empowerment session organised by the Christopher Oghogho Foundation, Mrs Musa described the gathering as an inspiring platform for learning, meaningful conversations and personal development.

The event brought women together to explore practical approaches to maintaining healthy lifestyles, achieving financial freedom and building a lasting legacy for future generations.

Mrs Musa expressed appreciation to the speakers, Tobore Olumoye and Dr. Bolatito Aiyenigba, for sharing valuable and practical insights with participants. She also commended the women in attendance for their active participation, thoughtful questions and willingness to learn.

She emphasised that empowering women has a far-reaching impact, noting that when women invest in their personal growth and development, families become stronger, communities prosper and future generations benefit.

According to her, the Christopher Oghogho Foundation remains committed to creating platforms that educate, empower and equip women with the knowledge, confidence and resources needed to thrive in different areas of life.

Mrs Musa encouraged participants to embrace healthier lifestyles, strengthen their financial knowledge and pursue purposeful leadership, stressing that women have an important role to play in building stronger families and communities.

She thanked everyone who contributed to the success of the programme and expressed optimism that the knowledge shared during the event would inspire participants to take practical steps towards achieving greater personal and financial wellbeing.

“When women invest in their growth, families thrive, communities prosper, and generations are transformed.”

The initiative underscores the Foundation’s continued focus on women’s empowerment, health awareness, financial confidence and sustainable personal development.
