AJF condemns attack on NDA, calls for immediate release of abducted officer
Arewa Journalists Forum (AJF) has condemned the invasion, killing and abduction at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) by unknown gunmen who gained access into the residential area within the Academy in Afaka.
A statement by Musa Jajere, Special Assistant to AJF President quoted the president, Mallam Hassan Galadima Esq. thus: “On behalf of the members and exco of AJF, I condemn in strong terms this brazen attack on the NDA and the abduction of an Army officer by the attackers.
“I am calling on the perpetrators to have a rethink and release with immediate effect the abducted Army officer.”
The President also called on the general public to collaborate with members of AJF to help mitigate the atrocities of insurgents and bandits by sharing credible and actionable intelligence.
