The former Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai (rtd), CFR, is set to chair the public presentation and official launch of a new legal publication titled “Annotation of Cases on Court Martial” on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the Army Officers’ Command Mess 1, Asokoro, Abuja.

Co-authored by Major General Mahmood Umaru Wambai (GSS, mni) and Mr. Ali Ibrahim Omachi, Esq., the book is described as a groundbreaking contribution to the study and practice of military law in Nigeria. According to a statement signed by Major General Wambai, the event will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will attract top figures from the military and legal communities.

The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (OFR), will serve as the Special Guest of Honour, while the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General OO Oluyede (NAM, mni), will act as the Chief Host.

Renowned legal scholar Professor Akinseye-George, SAN, will review the book, and Alhaji Umar A. Mustapha is expected to function as the Chief Launcher.
