Falex Foundation Eases Yuletide Hardship Through Food Distribution in Ijesha South Federal Constituency

In a gesture of compassion, the Falex Foundation has undertaken a food distribution initiative aimed at alleviating the hardships faced by the community during the yuletide season, in an effort to bring joy and relief to individuals and families during this festive period.
The well attended event held at the Falex Foundation house, Obokun avenue in Ilesa, witnessed a large turnout of people from the four Ijesa local governments area of Osun State comprising Ilesa West, Ilesa East, Atakumosa West and Atakumosa East, all in Ijesa South Federal Constituency receiving their food items one after the other.
While fielding questions from journalists at the event, the Convener of the foundation, Dr Tunde Faleye said, they carried out the end of year food items distribution of Falex Foundation and the mission was to put smiles on the faces of the poor, especially in this Yuletide and at other times possible.
According to Dr. Faleye, the gesture was to commemorate Christmas as well as to alleviate the plight of some underprivileged people in the area.
“It is all about reaching out and touching lives. That is the basis on which we have built this foundation because when you make people happy, God has a way of making you happy too as it is something we have learnt, and we are doing it and will keep doing it.
“I am using this medium to appreciate the Almighty God for answering my prayers and for helping me to help others, to extend the dividends of democracy to them, it is not my making but the Almighty.”
He then added, “I would not relent in pursuing the betterment and welfare of my faithfuls as their upliftment would always be my priority. I thank God for allowing me to distribute rice, gaari, and semovita among my fans, and this will be a continuous exercise by God’s grace. ”
Responding, one of the beneficiaries of the Christmas gifts who was highly elated, described Dr Tunde Faleye as a philantropist, a bridge builder, a unifier, an indisputable leader, a man of many people with sober reflection and always having the poor in his mind.
He added that, Dr Faleye has been a force to recon with in Ilesa East All Progressives Congress, APC, saying, “he has faced many storms from other groups who termed him betrayal embarking on anti party activities, but all he does, he continue to remain within the party while he has never objected nor disobeyed the party enchelon, he remain and stands fermly to defend the rules and the law guiding the APC.
According to him, “Falex foundation, God will take you to where your heart desires, the hearts of the less privilege you have watered today, will never make you grow dried, and we pray many good works in 2024”.
As the people receive their gifts one after the other, songs were raised in unison, “Falex ee gbodo ku o, se majemu sese bere, ee gbodo ku o”.
The programme witnessed people from all walks of life, including leaders of the APC across Osun.
