The Lagos State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed profound appreciation to the people of Rivers and Kano States, the Federal Capital Territory, and Nigerians nationwide for their resounding support in the recent by-elections.

In a statement issued by the party’s spokesman, Mogaji (Hon) Seye Oladejo, the Lagos APC described the election outcomes as a clear endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership and the progressive policies guiding governance at federal and state levels. The victories of APC candidates across affected constituencies, the party noted, reaffirm the electorate’s confidence in the Renewed Hope Agenda and ongoing transformative initiatives.
The Lagos APC highlighted that, despite opposition rhetoric and social media campaigns, the results demonstrated that Nigerians value bold leadership, economic reforms, infrastructural development, and institutional strengthening. The party argued that democracy is ultimately decided at the ballot box, not through virtual campaigns, emphasizing that the electorate delivered a decisive verdict in favour of performance-driven governance.
The party also commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting the elections professionally and security agencies for ensuring a safe and orderly process. Lagos APC further saluted its volunteers, campaign teams, and party faithful whose grassroots engagement contributed to the successful outcomes.
“The by-election victories are not merely political wins; they constitute a renewed mandate to work harder in service of the people,” the statement said, reiterating the party’s unwavering support for President Tinubu and calling for collective efforts to build a stronger, more prosperous, and united Nigeria.
