Peter Phillips Marries Harriet Sperling in Gloucestershire Ceremony Attended by Royal Family

Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling have married in an intimate ceremony held in the village of Kemble, Gloucestershire, attended by senior members of the British Royal Family.

The wedding took place at All Saints Church, where residents and royal enthusiasts gathered along the streets to celebrate the occasion and catch a glimpse of the newlyweds.

Among those in attendance were King Charles III and Queen Camilla, alongside Princess Anne, the Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales.

Other guests included Zara Tindall and her husband Mike Tindall, accompanied by their daughters Mia and Lena, as well as the Prince Edward and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh with their son, James, Earl of Wessex.

Also present were Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, accompanied by their husbands, Jack Brooksbank and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

The Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex were not in attendance.

As the bride arrived at the church, well-wishers greeted the wedding party with cheers and applause. Ms Sperling was accompanied by three bridesmaids, including Mr Phillips’ daughters, Savannah and Isla, and her own daughter, Georgina.

For the ceremony, the bride wore a gown designed by Emilia Wickstead, paired with earrings and a family tiara from Pragnell, and shoes by Jimmy Choo.

Following the wedding, family members and close friends attended a reception at Gatcombe Park, the residence of Princess Anne and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence.

King Charles and Queen Camilla later departed by helicopter to attend the Epsom Derby, where they were scheduled to present the winner’s trophy.

Peter Phillips, the eldest child of Princess Anne and her former husband, Mark Phillips, was previously married to Autumn Phillips. The couple separated in 2020 after 12 years of marriage.

Phillips began a relationship with Harriet Sperling in 2024, and the couple announced their engagement in August 2025. In recent months, they have appeared together at several royal events, including Royal Ascot, where they joined members of the Royal Family in the traditional carriage procession.

The wedding marks a significant milestone for the couple and brought together several generations of the Royal Family for a celebration in the English countryside.
