In a message released to commemorate the occasion, the President thanked citizens for their prayers, messages, and demonstrations of solidarity, describing the outpouring of love as deeply appreciated. He also acknowledged the support of the First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, and Vice President Kashim Shettima for their kind words.
Tinubu noted that, in line with his tradition, he chose to mark the birthday quietly, reflecting the current mood of the nation. He emphasized that the journey of governance over the past years has been marked by difficult but necessary reforms, adding that the sacrifices made are beginning to yield positive results.
According to him, despite temporary setbacks linked to global challenges, including tensions in the Middle East, there are clear signs of progress and “light at the end of the tunnel.”
The President stressed that the achievements recorded so far are a collective effort, crediting members of his administration and Nigerians at large for their resilience and cooperation.
“As we approach the third anniversary of this administration, I remain confident that we will overcome current challenges and build a stronger, more prosperous nation,” he stated.
Tinubu called on citizens to continue supporting government efforts, urging unity and shared commitment toward national development and a brighter future for coming generations.
