Hijrah 1446AH: Osun declares Monday public holiday

Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has declared tomorrow (Monday) as public holiday to celebrate Islamic New year Hijirah 1446AH.
According to a statement issued and made available to newsmen in Osogbo by the state Commissioner for Home Affairs, Hon R.K Aderibigbe, Governor Adeleke is also using the medium to appeal to all Islamic faithfuls to use the period of the celebration to pray for peace, progress and development of the State and Nigeria as a whole.
