Group Congratulates Buratai on Distinguished Son of the North East Award

A socio-economic and political advocacy group under the aegis of The Fatherland Front for Growth and Development Initiative has extended its heartfelt congratulations to former Chief of Army Staff and immediate past Nigeria’s Ambassador to the Republic of Benin, His Excellency, Amb. Tukur Yusuf Buratai, on his recent conferment of the award of Distinguished Son of the North East.
The prestigious award was presented by the Concerned Citizens of the North East (CCNE) during a ceremony held in Maiduguri, Borno State, on May 26, 2024.
In a press statement signed by its Chairman and Secretary, Rear Admiral Abdul Adamu (Rtd.) and Sir. Dr. AK Peters respectively, the leadership and members of the Fatherland Front for Growth and Development Initiative highlighted that the award signifies the deep appreciation, goodwill, and trust that the people of the North East have for Amb. Buratai.
They commended his significant contributions to the security, growth, and development of the region, noting that his efforts have left a lasting impact.
“As a socio-economic and political advocacy initiative, the Fatherland Front for Growth and Development Initiative identifies and felicitates with you on the conferment of this special award,” the statement read.
The group also urged Amb. Buratai to continue his exemplary work, which has consistently set him apart and earned him widespread recognition.
The Fatherland Front for Growth and Development Initiative emphasized that Nigeria needs leaders like Amb. Buratai, whose passion, patriotism, commitment, hard work, and dedication to duty are essential ingredients for effective leadership.
They lauded his sincerity of purpose, goal-oriented approach, and detribalized disposition, which have all contributed to his outstanding leadership qualities.
The group concluded by praying for Amb. Buratai’s continued good health, both in mind and body, so that he can persist in his statesmanly responsibilities to the nation.
