Saudi Arabia has completed construction of Six Flags Qiddiya City, one of the flagship attractions within the Kingdom’s ambitious Qiddiya entertainment project, with an official opening scheduled for December 31.

The theme park is set to host some of the world’s most extreme attractions, led by the Falcon Roller Coaster, which has been billed as the longest, fastest, and tallest roller coaster ever built. In addition to Falcon, the park will feature five major thrill rides designed to place Qiddiya among the world’s top-tier amusement destinations.

Adjacent to the theme park, Aquaarabia — a large-scale water park — is reported to be more than 95 percent complete, further strengthening the site’s appeal as a year-round entertainment hub.

Six Flags Qiddiya City represents the first phase of a much broader development plan. Around 70 assets are planned for the Qiddiya project, including sports stadiums, arts and cultural centers, esports arenas, motorsport tracks, and live performance venues.

The project is a cornerstone of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy, which seeks to diversify the economy beyond oil, expand the tourism sector, create jobs, and position the Kingdom as a global destination for entertainment, culture, and leisure.

Officials say the opening marks a major milestone in redefining Saudi Arabia’s entertainment landscape and signals the country’s growing ambition to compete on the global stage.
