Cross-Border Organ Trafficking Ring Uncovered Between Bangladesh, India

Authorities have uncovered a dangerous organ trafficking network allegedly operating between Bangladesh and India, targeting vulnerable men with false promises of lucrative jobs abroad.

According to reports, brokers recruit victims by offering high-paying employment opportunities. Instead of being placed in jobs, the men are reportedly transported to medical facilities under the pretense of routine health checks. Investigations suggest that some victims were sedated and later discovered that one of their kidneys had been surgically removed without their knowledge or consent.

Many of those affected are said to have returned home in deteriorating health and without the financial compensation they were promised.

Law enforcement agencies in both countries have launched investigations into the cross-border racket, working to identify and apprehend the brokers, medical personnel, and other individuals allegedly involved in the illegal procedures.

Officials have urged the public to remain cautious of suspicious overseas job offers and to verify recruitment agencies through official channels as the probe continues.
