NYSC Concludes 2025 Batch A, Stream 1 Service Year in Anambra, Issues Certificates of National Service
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially concluded the service year for the 2025 Batch A, Stream 1 corps members deployed to Anambra State, with deserving participants receiving their Certificates of National Service (CNS) across the state on Tuesday.

The distribution exercise, closely monitored by the State Coordinator, Mrs. Pauline Ojisua, took place at the Awka South Local Government Area Secretariat, drawing a large turnout of corps members eager to collect their certificates.
Mrs. Ojisua said the event marked the successful completion of the corps members’ mandatory one-year national service. She disclosed that a total of 1,149 corps members were discharged in the batch, comprising 457 males and 692 females.
“The ceremony signifies the end of their contributions to national development through community service, education, healthcare, and other critical sectors during their deployment year,” she stated. “We commend the corps members for their dedication, discipline, and resilience throughout their service year. We urge them to carry forward the values of patriotism, unity, and selfless service instilled by the scheme as they transition into the next phase of their lives.”
According to Mrs. Ojisua, the issuance of the CNS is a significant milestone, certifying completion of the NYSC programme and qualifying corps members for full participation in the nation’s workforce and civic engagements.
The exercise, conducted across various local government areas in Anambra State, proceeded peacefully and adhered strictly to NYSC guidelines, bringing to a close another successful service year for the state’s corps members.
