JAMB Releases 2026 UTME Mop-Up Examination Results
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mop-up exercise conducted for candidates who were unable to participate in the main examination due to technical challenges and biometric verification issues.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, announced that affected candidates can now access their results through the Board’s approved result-checking platforms.
According to the Board, the release of the mop-up results marks the completion of the examination phase, paving the way for the commencement of candidate ranking, a crucial step in the admission process for tertiary institutions across the country.
Dr. Benjamin noted that the ranking exercise will begin immediately to facilitate the next stages of admissions for the 2026 academic session.
He commended candidates, parents, educational institutions, and other stakeholders for their patience, cooperation, and understanding throughout the process.
The Board also disclosed that the printing of UTME result slips required for admission processing is expected to commence before the weekend.
JAMB reassured candidates of its commitment to maintaining a transparent, credible, and efficient admission process while encouraging all candidates to regularly monitor official communication channels for further updates.
