NSCDC Begins Construction of New Entrance Gate, Quarter Guard Post, Solar Lighting Project
The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi, has performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a new entrance gate, modern Quarter Guard Post, access road and solar illumination project.
The infrastructure project is aimed at strengthening security around the facility, improving access control and creating a more conducive operational environment for personnel to carry out their statutory responsibilities.
The project is expected to be completed within eight weeks.
Speaking on the development, the Commandant General appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the Minister of Interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, for their intervention and continued support towards the infrastructural development and improved operational capacity of the Corps.
The NSCDC said the project forms part of efforts to improve its facilities and strengthen its ability to deliver on its mandate.
