His Majesty Ògíamẹ̀ Atúwàtse III, the Olu of Warri, and Her Majesty Olorì Atuwatsé III have visited Israel to participate in Awake Jerusalem, a global Christian gathering organised by Eagles’ Wings International.
The weeklong event brought together Christians from 53 countries for worship, prayer and fellowship, united by their shared faith and commitment to seeking God’s guidance for nations around the world.
A major highlight of the royal couple’s visit was an audience with the President of Israel, His Excellency Isaac Herzog.
The gathering provided an opportunity for the Olu of Warri and his wife to join religious leaders and believers from diverse backgrounds in worship, prayer and reflection on the values of faith, unity and peace.
Their participation underscored the importance of international Christian fellowship in strengthening relationships, promoting mutual understanding and encouraging a shared commitment to humanity’s well-being.
The visit also highlighted the role of faith-based gatherings in bringing people from different nations together around common spiritual values and aspirations for peace.
