President Tinubu Convenes High-Level Security Meeting, Orders Decisive Action Nationwide
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu says he is currently presiding over an extended security meeting at the State House with Service Chiefs, the Inspector-General of Police, the Director-General of the DSS, and heads of key intelligence agencies.
The President said the meeting is focused on reviewing the latest security reports and taking “decisive actions” to stabilise affected areas and strengthen the protection of citizens across the country.
According to him, he is receiving continuous briefings and has directed all security services to act with “speed, precision, and absolute resolve”.
“As President, I am fully committed to the security of all Nigerians. Those who threaten the peace and security of our nation will face the full weight of the law,” he said.
Reaffirming confidence in the country’s security architecture, President Tinubu declared that Nigeria will prevail.
