Tinubu Approves Over ₦156 Billion Road Projects Across Adamawa’s Three Senatorial Districts

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved three major road projects valued at more than ₦156 billion to improve infrastructure and connectivity across the three senatorial districts of Adamawa State.

The approved projects include the ₦83 billion Jimeta–Mayo Belwa Road, the ₦58 billion rehabilitation of the Yola–Hong–Mubi Road (Phase II), and ₦15.246 billion for Phase II of the Yola–Fufore–Gurin Road project.

The second phase of the Yola–Fufore–Gurin Road will cover an additional 20 kilometres, following the completion of the initial 17-kilometre phase.

The Federal Government said the projects are aimed at improving road transportation, enhancing connectivity between communities, facilitating the movement of goods and people, and stimulating economic activities across Adamawa State.

The road projects are also expected to support regional development by providing better access to commercial centres and improving infrastructure across the state’s three senatorial zones.
