Asisat Oshoala Fires Al Hilal Into Saudi Women’s Cup Final With Hat-Trick Masterclass

Asisat Oshoala delivered another standout performance on Thursday, scoring a hat-trick to lead Al Hilal Women to a dominant 5-1 victory over Al Qadsiah Women and secure qualification for the Saudi Women’s Cup final with a 7-2 aggregate triumph.

The six-time African Women’s Player of the Year scored twice in the first half before completing her hat-trick after the break, continuing her impressive scoring form since moving to Saudi Arabia.

Oshoala has now recorded 23 goals and six assists across all competitions this season. The Nigerian striker has also scored in four consecutive matches and registered at least one goal contribution in each of her last six appearances.

Carrying a 2-1 advantage into the second leg, Al Hilal quickly took control of the encounter with Oshoala central to their attacking dominance.

The forward opened the scoring in the 36th minute with a powerful right-footed effort from outside the box after being set up by Kheira Hamraoui.

Just two minutes later, Jéssica Silva doubled Al Hilal’s lead following a swift counter-attack initiated by Al Bandari Mobarak.

Ajara Nchout pulled one back for Al Qadsiah in the 42nd minute, but Oshoala restored Al Hilal’s two-goal cushion moments later with another composed finish before half-time.

The Nigerian star completed her hat-trick in the 73rd minute after calmly converting from inside the box following another assist from Al Bandari Mobarak.

Oshoala also won a late penalty after being fouled inside the area in the 89th minute, with Ghizlane Chebbak converting from the spot in stoppage time to seal the emphatic victory.

Al Hilal will now face either Al Ula Women or Al Nassr Women in the final as they continue their push for silverware this season.

Oshoala joined Al Hilal in the summer of 2025 on a two-year deal from Bay FC and has quickly become one of the standout performers in Saudi women’s football.
