A Nigerian woman, Habibat Salawudeen Ihiovi-Jack, has embarked on a quest to set a new Guinness World Record by undertaking a 144-hour non-stop Bible reading marathon in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The record attempt, which is taking place in the Rivers State capital, aims to establish a new benchmark for the longest continuous public Bible reading.

Habibat began the challenge with the goal of reading the Bible continuously for six days, demonstrating endurance, faith, and commitment throughout the marathon.

Supporters, family members, and well-wishers have continued to encourage her as she progresses through the record attempt, which is expected to attract attention from across Nigeria and beyond.

If successfully completed and verified by Guinness World Records, the feat would earn Habibat Salawudeen Ihiovi-Jack a place in the global record books.
