General Evangelist Ademola Endorses Book on Legacy of CAC Pioneer, Oba Isaac Babalola Akinyele

By Charity Onah

The General Evangelist of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Nigeria and Overseas, Professor Ojo Emmanuel Ademola, has formally endorsed a newly released book titled Akinyele Speaks Today, describing it as a “profound and timely preservation” of the spiritual and administrative legacy of Pastor Sir (Oba) Isaac Babalola Akinyele, the first President and Chairman-in-Council of the CAC under the historic 1943 Certificate of Incorporation.

In his endorsement, Professor Ademola said the publication represents a major milestone in documenting the authentic voice and apostolic convictions of Oba Akinyele, whom he described as a foundational pillar of the Church. He noted that the book offers invaluable insight into the discipline, doctrinal clarity, and leadership principles that shaped the early years of the CAC.

Professor Ademola highlighted the intergenerational significance of the project, paying tribute to the late Pastor Sam Babs Mala—whom he called a man of deep spiritual commitment—and commending his son, Pastor Dr. Simon Babs Mala, for editing the work with diligence and fidelity. He said the father-and-son continuity reflects a biblical pattern of transmitting spiritual heritage across generations.

According to him, the voice of Oba Akinyele “still speaks with clarity and urgency” nearly nine decades after his leadership, offering guidance to the contemporary Church on holiness, unity, order, and the uncompromised Gospel message. He added that the book serves not only as a historical record but also as a prophetic call to revival and realignment with the founding vision of the CAC.

Professor Ademola emphasized that the publication arrives at a critical time, as the global Church grapples with distractions, materialism, and doctrinal drift. He described the book as a “guiding light” for ministers, theologians, historians, and members seeking to reconnect with the spiritual foundations of the movement.

He urged leaders and members of the CAC to engage deeply with the work, noting that it provides essential lessons for renewal, institutional memory, and generational continuity.

Professor Ademola concluded his endorsement with a prayer that the preserved voice of Oba Akinyele would inspire a renewed hunger for righteousness, truth, and apostolic purpose within the Church.
