Quoting from the Qur’an, Arabi emphasizes the instruction for Muslims to endure various trials:
“And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient,” (Q-2:155).
Arabi acknowledges the challenges that may exist within society but stresses that a Muslim’s faith involves recognizing Allah’s wisdom in every aspect of life, even in moments of hunger and difficulty. He encourages intensified prayers during this month for divine intervention in all facets of existence. Arabi urges the Muslim community to draw inspiration from their faith, finding strength to remain resilient in the face of trials.
Ramadan, according to Arabi, is a time for communities to unite, offering support through acts of kindness, compassion, and understanding. He sees Ramadan as a reminder that shared commitment to perseverance fosters a deeper connection with Allah and a greater sense of unity.
Arabi encourages Nigerian Muslims to wholeheartedly embrace the spirit of Ramadan, understanding that challenges present opportunities for growth and spiritual development. He concludes the message by wishing blessings, peace, and renewed determination for everyone during this holy month.
Ramadan Mubarak to the beloved Nigerian Muslim community.
