Cameroon Telecommunications Regulatory Board Visits NCC for Benchmarking Exercise in Abuja

The Director General of the Telecommunications Regulatory Board, Philemon Zoo Zame, on Tuesday led a delegation on a benchmarking visit to the headquarters of the Nigerian Communications Commission in Abuja.

The delegation was received by the Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the NCC, Aminu Maida, during the engagement held May 2026.

The benchmarking exercise focused on strengthening regulatory collaboration and sharing experiences on telecommunications regulation, digital innovation, and industry best practices between Cameroon and Nigeria.

The visit also provided an opportunity for both regulatory bodies to exchange ideas on improving telecommunications governance, enhancing service delivery, and supporting digital transformation across the region.

The Nigerian Communications Commission has continued to receive delegations from African countries seeking to understudy Nigeria’s telecommunications regulatory framework and digital economy initiatives.
